Tuff Pope - Middle School Track & Field
“Tuff is the hardest working athlete on the team! He is an amazing leader and gives 100% every day.” - Coach Conant
Mason Julian - High School Track & Field
“Mason has had a great attitude all season and is excited to compete in Track & Field. It is rare to find an athlete who wants to compete in more than the allowed number of events but Mason is one of them. He has also been competing extremely well in all of his events. I look forward to seeing how he continues to improve throughout the rest of the season. Keep the positive attitude and keep working hard, Mason!” - Coach Burnett
Joseph Valadez - Golf
“Joseph comes to practice with a positive attitude and willingness to work hard. He has improved a lot this season and puts forth great effort. I believe he will continue to fine tune his golf skills and will finish the season strong.” - Coach Ketter
Peyton Roush - Middle School Cheer
“This girl stepped up and became a leader when I was out on maternity leave. There was never a worry about her doing what she was supposed to do. Her leadership continued when I came back, as well. She was always prepared and made sure every girl knew what they were wearing! Thanks, Peyton, for being such a great leader!” - Coach Falk
Jessica Schrag - High School Cheer
“I love having Jessica on the cheer squad! One of the things I appreciate most about her is her positive attitude. Regardless of what happens before cheer, she has the extraordinary ability to “leave it at the door” and come in with a smile on her face. Jessica also accepts corrective feedback with grace and does her best in whatever she’s working on. I am so happy to watch Jessica take this next step after graduation but will truly miss our car ride chats about life. Good luck Jess! You will be missed!” - Coach Destiny
ProStart Team
“The 2023 ProStart Culinary Competition Team members are Anna Alpers, Dylan Gantz, Mason Julian, Katelyn McCloskey, and Jimi Oleson. This team put in a lot of hard work to prepare for the State Competition in Wichita this year. They competed very well and had many positive comments from the judges. Out of 19 teams from around the states, Stafford placed 8th! Stafford was once again the smallest school to compete! I appreciate the many extra hours of preparation and practice, and of course the humor that made everything a lot more fun.” - Mrs. Unruh
Luka Pilopovic - Student of the Month
“Everything Luka does, he does with the goal of excellence. Always on time. Always trying his best. Going above and beyond to help out, covering other’s responsibilities so the yearbook team meets our goals. And he’s kind and thoughtful of even our tiniest Trojans.” - Mrs. Heminway
“Stafford has been blessed to have Luka here as an exchange student. He is quiet but confident. Strong in his own self worth. I have enjoyed his quirky sense of humor and his honesty. Luka will be truly missed as he continues on his way.” - Mrs. Scoles
