Paisley B. - Middle School Girls Basketball
“Paisley is such a go-getter! This girl gives 100%, she is coachable and always does what is asked of her. There is no challenge that is too big! Her determination to get better and to help her team win never goes unnoticed. She is working hard at becoming a better ball handler in order to play a bigger role next year on varsity. The toughness and fight in her makes her a great example of how to play defense and never quit, even when getting beat around. Paisley, we are so proud of the work you have put in this season and the progress you have made. You are a great teammate and example for others to follow.” - Coach Minks and Coach Kreutzer
Kya C. - Middle School Girls Basketball
“Kya is a player who is very coachable and works hard at doing what is asked of her to help the team. Her biggest asset to the team is the energy she brings everyday! She's fast and can move very well on her feet. She also has a fiery fighting spirit that makes her a very good defender and a joy to coach. She has a very good shot and helps out offensively. With her hard work she will continue to grow offensively. She is a leader on and off the court. She will be a huge asset to our HS Girls program for the next 4 years. Thank you for all your hard work this season. You are a good example to the younger girls to always give 100%. Thanks for always keeping us on our toes with your witty comments and great humor.” - Coach Minks and Coach Kreutzer
Hunter M. - Middle School Boys Basketball
“I would like to honor Hunter Marks for the Trojan Wall of Fame in Junior High Boys' Basketball. I have enjoyed having Hunter on our team this season. He is often one of the first players in the gym for practice, eager to work hard and get better. I appreciate Hunter's enthusiasm for basketball and his effort in practice every day. Hunter has missed very few practices this season, and Coach Hildebrand and I have witnessed his improvement on the court. In addition, Hunter is consistently encouraging to his teammates. Whether in practice, playing in the games, or as a teammate on the bench, Hunter speaks encouraging words and provides positivity to our team. Thank you, Hunter, for playing basketball this season.” - Coach Lowther

Sam L., Kilyn R., & Wylie M. - #ZeroReasonsWhy
“I really appreciate Sam, Kilyn, and Wylie. They showed up to our yellow out event with positive attitudes and helped with whatever was needed. They were also willing to get outside their comfort zone to engage with guests and talk to them about our group, share resources, offer freebies, and/or point out our activity. Sam and Kilyn even had other responsibilities to attend to throughout the night but they made an effort to help and were able to fulfill all of their obligations. They’ve also consistently been involved through the year, offering ideas and feedback. Thank you Sam, Kilyn, and Wylie for taking it seriously and staying dedicated to our group! We need more people like you!” - Mrs. Johnson
Annie P. - English and Language Arts
“Annie, as a 6th grader, has completed ALL her levels on IXL. In her usual fashion, she worked consistently, always completing her required minutes and never complaining. Even when she was working on 12th grade levels, she worked hard, asked questions and never quit. Annie is a perfect example of what you can achieve if you keep working and believing.” - Ms. Barstow
Maggie G. - Student of the Month
“I have seen so much growth in Maggie throughout high school! She is not only strong and independent, but caring and compassionate as well. I appreciate that she doesn't hesitate to jump in and get work done, even when no one else volunteers to help. Maggie isn't afraid to stand up for what she believes in and doesn't let others stop her from achieving her goals. I'm so glad I finally got to have Maggie in one of my classes this year!” - Mrs. Unruh

Sometimes her approach is a little rough but she has improved on that too! I appreciate Maggie for always stepping up to the plate and willing to help.” - Mrs. Berens
