Happy Giving Tuesday!
On this day of global giving, JAG-K is excited to raise money for our organization while offering an exciting chance to win two tickets to see the KC Chiefs play the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day! The lucky winner could choose to attend the game, gift the tickets to someone special, or even sell them. It's a win-win-win!
But the raffle is only open until midnight tonight, so don't delay if you intend to donate! There is no expectation for staff to contribute, but all JAG-K personnel are eligible except for directors and executive management.

A gift of $13 – Taylor Swift’s favorite number – earns one entry in the raffle.
A gift of $87 – Travis Kelce’s jersey number – earns ten entries in the raffle.
A gift of $100 – a combination of the two numbers – earns thirteen entries in the raffle.

Picture day is tomorrow. If your student was absent on fall picture day or retakes are needed, please plan for pictures tomorrow. If you want your student to have a retake, please send back the packet from the fall. Winter sports pictures will also be taken.
Our middle school basketball team has their first home game of the season tomorrow (November 28) vs. Fairfield. See the comments for details.
The high school basketball teams travel to Minneola this afternoon to participate in the first ever basketball jamboree. See the attached for details.
7th grade woods students completed a mass production project of over 30 birdhouses today. They learned practical uses and safety precautions with machine and portable power tools throughout this project. They showed tremendous teamwork as well!

School Custodian
USD 349, Stafford Schools, is looking for a first shift custodian/maintenance to work five days a week, 4:30am-2:00pm. Duties included mopping, sweeping, emptying trash, general cleaning, and general maintenance duties, as assigned. Maintenance knowledge preferred but not required. Some lifting will be required from time to time, in addition to using a ladder for various tasks. The successful candidate must have good character, prompt, and demonstrate good attendance. We want to have you back to cheer with us! Spring homecoming is tentatively scheduled for January 5th and we hope to do a halftime show of the fight song variations through the years and/or maybe do a couple cheers together.

Reminder:
Elementary students are served breakfast from 7:30 to 7:50am each school day in the cafeteria. Students are released to class at 7:55.
MS/HS student breakfasts are served from 7:40 to 7:55am as they come in the front doors, and are they are released to class at 8:00am.

The middle school basketball teams begin play this week. They travel to Macksville today. Games start at 3:00 with 1/2 C team girls followed 1/2 C team boys followed by B team and then A team.

The 6th, 8th, 10th, and 12th grade classes will be taking the Kansas Communities that Care survey (with exception of those without the parent consent form signed) tomorrow. Please make sure your child charges their laptop overnight and has it ready to go tomorrow.
