The district will be offering a pep bus for high school students and community members to next week's boys sub-state games at Ransom. If you would like to ride, there will be a $5.00 fee plus you will need to pay admission to the game. To sign up, please email kminks@stafford349.com or call the high school office at 620-234-5248 to reserve a spot; please include your name(s) and phone number. Payment will need to be received by Wednesday at noon. The pep bus will only be provided if we have enough riders.

Culinary students are enjoying a taste of New Orleans - today they finished preparing Beignets and tomorrow they will complete their King Cakes.


Wednesday morning students in Ms. Talbots' library class viewed the Kansas Senate live via telecast. The Senate had a floor debate on Senate Bill 3. This bill would designate the Silvisaurus Condrayi as the official state land fossil. The students enjoyed watching the Kansas Senate in action.

Due to lack of players, there will not be a girls basketball game at Pretty Prairie this evening. JV boys will play 1/2 at 5:15 and varsity boys will play at 6:00pm.


Ellinwood's baseball coach is having a parent information meeting on Thursday, February 23rd at 6:30 p.m. at Ellinwood High School for any students interested in playing HS baseball this year.
Please spread the word to any students who might be interested in playing HS baseball this season!


Our high school basketball teams finish out the regular season on Tuesday, February 21 at Pretty Prairie. The games will start with 1/2 JV boys followed by Varsity girls and then Varsity boys.


Goodland Tech will be visiting Stafford High School Tuesday 2/21/2023 in the afternoon during 5th hour.


Tonight is the Personal Care Drive sponsored by FCCLA - please plan to bring personal care items that will be shared with students in exchange for admission to the game! Suggestions include deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes, lotion, hair items, etc. Items will be available to students from Pre-K through 12th grade!


This morning our middle and high school students met with some tremendous community partners to learn about potential career paths. We were joined by: an electrician, a game warden, a contractor, a small business owner, a rancher, a mechanic, the National Guard, and a restaurant owner.






Our HS boys travel to Larned for regional wrestling on February 18. Start time is 9:00am.


Attica travels to Stafford this Friday. We will recognize seniors of all winter sports in between the 2 varsity games.
